FME与Vista

我装了2007，没问题，但是把vista的用户帐户控制关了。

<P>Having said that, we have developers and support staff using Vista, and we've tested FME on Vista (ran it through the testsuite) and everything looks fine. It doesn't look like there are any major problems. </P>

<H3>Installation Folder</H3>
<P>You should ALWAYS install FME in c:\apps\FME - and NEVER in "Program Files". </P>
<P>In Vista, "Program Files" is a special folder. Installing in here creates “shadow copies” that protect(?) users from their installation getting corrupt. This is likely to manifest itself when a user tries to change from one license level to another. For example you could find that one user is FME for ESRI, and another is FME Professional on the same machine, in the same install directory! </P>
<H3>My Documents Folder</H3>
<P>Please note that Windows Vista does not have a <my documents> folder anymore. This has been sort-of replaced with the <documents> folder, but FME does not by default create its own directory there. You can do this manually, then add that directory as a shared resource. </P>
