<P><br>Installing XTools Pro<br>---------------------</P>
<P>Prior to installation make sure all the ArcGIS Desktop applications <br>are closed. To install XTools Pro 5.2 for ArcGIS Desktop run <br>the XToolsProSetup.exe file and follow the installation instructions. <br>Administrative privileges are required to install XTools Pro extension.</P>
<P>Notes:<br>------</P>
<P>- It is recommended to uninstall any previous XTools Pro installations before <br>  installing XTools Pro 5.2.</P>
<P>- Installation of Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable is performed prior <br>  to XTools Pro 5.2 installation.</P>
<P>- After XTools Pro is installed launch ArcGIS ArcMap application. A notification <br>  about XTools Pro installation will be prompted suggesting you to enable the <br>  extension. Press "Yes" to activate XTools Pro extension and add XTools Pro <br>  toolbar in ArcMap interface.<br><br>- If you do not see this notification and/or XTools Pro buttons are greyed out <br>  you can activate the extension manually. For this go to ArcMap Tools menu, <br>  select "Extensions" menu item and check the box next to XTools Pro extension <br>  in the Extensions window.</P>
<P>- XTools for ArcView GIS 3.x (by Mike DeLaune, ODF), XTools 3.1 for ArcGIS <br>  Desktop and XTools Pro for ArcGIS Desktop can be installed simultaneously <br>  on one machine.</P>

xtools挺好用，不过很多功能是要收费滴
