<P>I was working on a transportation planning project a few weeks ago and went back digging this old but still cool thing. It was a bit old but TransCAD doesn't upgrade as often as ArcGIS anyway. One quite unbelievable thing is after these many years ArcGIS Network Analyst is still way behind TransCAD. Well, if you are dealing with Transportation GIS, you definitely know what I am talking about.</P>

<P>Note: It keeps crashing on my Windows XP. When I install it on a virtual machine with Windows 2000 (using Parallels Workstation from <a href="http://www.parallels.com/" target="_blank" >http://www.parallels.com/</A>), it works perfectly. If you get the same problem, try this way.<BR></P>
