<P  align=left>The general workflow for using CTS is as follows: <p></p></P>
<P  align=left>Create or open a database called a POD.<p></p></P>
<P  align=left>Define general purpose data, such as the project name, lead engineer, contract number, and security classification for the project.<p></p></P>
<P  align=left>Create datasets and other types of data, such as grid stacks, design maps, and coordinate systems either with wizards or individual tools. Each of these types of data is saved as an object in CTS.<p></p></P>
<P  align=left>Create the process workflow, either with wizards or individual tools. Wizards can be used to develop large-scale tasks, and the tools can be used to edit the tasks later.<p></p></P>
<P  align=left>Prototype by generating a small area of terrain, culture, or Virtual Texture. Examine the results in CTS, and if they are not desirable, change the parameters and rerun the prototype area.<p></p></P>
<P  align=left>Run the process workflow on the remaining area to complete your workflow.<p></p></P>Examine the results in the Spatial View. You can look at your intermediate milestones and your final published output. If you find errors or are dissatisfied with the results, you can refine the process hierarchy by changing parameters in specific tools or utilities. You can then restart the process from any milestone in the process list.
