Dem文件太大，打不开，该怎么处理？
<P>用Global Mapper把从SRTM得到的数据生成DEM文件，有210M，在arcgis中打开时速度极慢，几乎打不开；请教各位大侠，这种情况该怎么办？</P>
<P>DEM文件中所包含的区域面积是所需要研究区域面积的两倍，请问在Global Mapper中如何将不需要的区域裁切掉？</P> |

<P>You can export the area that you are interested only from Globalmapper. TO do that, make a polygon in GlobalMapper, and select that polygon before you export your data to DEM, and in the export setting, make sure you choose the Crop to selected area feature from the Export Bounds tab. </P>
