I have been importing the .dbf file from the GIS info into Access to edit the attribute data , re-exporting it as a .dbf and that .dbf has been the new attribute table for the geographic data. However, I have recently done this for some data, and am trying to re-import the dbf files into Access, but I get the following error: Error 3015 "Index Not Found" This does not occur when I try to import other dbf files, so it is a problem unique to these new data. When I search on the web the only explanation I can find talks about needing to create a registry key to bypass the Borland Database Engine (BDE). I have never heard of this - is it something that installs with Access? How does it function and why is it only causing a problem with importing some dbf files and not others? How do I repair this problem? My process for editing the dbf files was: 1) Import dbf into access as table 2) update according to another access table 3) export table as dbf I have done this many times before and never had a problem..... any ideas? Thanks! </FONT></TD></TR></TABLE></TD></TR></TABLE> |
